The decision to do away with class locked weapons is having a bad effect on vehicle play. Now I'll start by saying a tank should never be destroyable by a single player unless that's with C4, it should be a team effort, but the 'problem' we have now is on vehicle heavy maps the majority of players will be an engineer (which is just natural) so any tank venturing close to congested areas is dead meat. Therefore anti tank weapons needed a nerf. Same issue with air vehicles and anti air missiles. Where in past Battlefields you would have a AA tank and if lucky 2 or 3 people with AA missiles if the the enemy pilot(s) were really good now you can have easily half a dozen of more on every round, which then means you have to give the pilots super fast reloads on flares to compensate. Poor design decisions from the get go on core game mechanics have blighted this game from the start
Heavily disagree. If a single player is good enough, they should be able to destroy a vehicle through careful positioning / traps or simply by being a much better player.
Vehicles shouldn't be free kill streak getters, you should still have to earn it. As of right now, all tank players are still camping and now they can camp harder. Dreadful change.

It's called balance. If you want one infantry to be able to take out a tank, then give the tanks main HE shells a proper kill radius and splash damage and do away with non med kit regen healing. As it is, even with the update, a tank can be mincemeat to a couple of guys as engineers

Dreadful change. The tanks were so bad up until now that they were not worth getting into vs staying on foot if you are one large clumsy metal pinnata.
They made me from a vehicle player into an infantry player with all the travesties upon vehicles from BFV and after.
This sounds more like how I remember tanks from the peak days of BF3 / 4
I am certain that I can still make a tanker's life hell if I chose to as an engineer.
