They did promote Portal as having full XP for all creations, and given what happened on 2042, they can't possibly say they're surprised that Portal games were set up to make progress and challenges easier to obtain. So soon after launch, they're doing a great job of killing the hype and excitement players had for BF6 - which I still really enjoy, but sometimes a Portal game against Bots is more fun than a MP match
Technically, I believe they said for 'verified experiences' not necessarily all creations.
Until a couple of days ago, you could create a verified experience with AI Backfill that would give XP. It is only now, with no warning and nearly 2 weeks after launch that EA/BF Studios have decided to change this so that now verified experiences with AI Backfill now no longer give XP. Additionally, based on their latest messaging, this is not a temporary measure but a permanent one, which is why people are pissed off.
To be clear, I agree with you. I was arguing against their statement of all creations. Not being specific of verified ones (which we all took to be with AI backfill included)
