I totally agree, people don't know how to have fun in a game nowadays. Where is the fun and the learning curve of the game for every weapon and attachments when you try it out one by one at different levels and compare it to previous states ?
Sad reality, everyone wants everything from the start so they can complain after 10-20 hours of gameplay that the game is boring and push devs to constantly add useless things then . But hey, everyone is free to do what they like, if farming bots for stats and weapons is their thing, who am i to cry about it :)
