I don't see how this is a silly issue.
Previous Battlefield games handled this just fine. When you entered a vehicle, your own loadout was applied automatically, and there was never a problem with it.
The current system forces players to use whatever setup the previous driver selected, which makes no sense when everyone has their own preferred vehicle configuration.
I'm not asking for a new feature—I'm asking for something that Battlefield already did correctly in past titles.

Because of this:

Example, me and my friend coordinate our MBT Loadouts, where I spec my loadout for anti infantry, and my friend who will ride shothun with me, specs his as anti armor. I start attacking an objective with a lot of infantry for which my vehicle is well suited. Now assuming the enemy team is not as dumb to let this continue and let me farm them, they send in their tank, now all of a sudden I'm vulnerable as my loadout is not suited for tank to tank combat, in your scenario me and my friend could swap seats and all of a sudden his loadout is applied and we can have a tank to tank fight.
It's for the same reason you are not able to switch between your own vehicle loadouts 1,2 and 3 midlife.

Yes, it is a problem, and players will always find ways to do annoying things regardless of the system.
What I meant was that there should be a solution, whether it's a loadout change station at the main base, a quick vehicle customization menu, or any other method. The important part is that the game should not automatically force me to use the loadout of a bot, a previous driver, or a player who abandoned the tank before I entered it.
Since you mentioned situations where changing loadouts could become annoying, I'd argue that the current system creates situations that are even worse. Being stuck with a completely different setup in the middle of a fight can be disastrous, especially when your preferred equipment is critical to how you play that vehicle.
There has to be a better solution than inheriting someone else's loadout.
