Vehicles are game changers, but

I really think tanks, helicopters, jets, and stationary AA guns should balanced with performance based penalties. It’s extremely frustrating when inexperienced players take these vehicles, only to get destroyed, wasting critical assets that could have been used by skilled players.
For example, I keep seeing players take a tank/ifv, drive it far away from objectives, and just camp there doing nothing, instead of pushing to capture points and supporting the team.
Vehicles are game changers when used well, but right now they’re often completely wasted.
Some kind of system that detects and discourages poor use would make matches much more balanced and enjoyable.

  • I've heard rumors that the release version will feature a boot camp mode and if true I hope there are requirements for everyone to take them to unlock the ability to drive, pilot them. That might lesson the type of behavior you are describing. Of course learning is a process so there are always going to be players trying to get their bearings and understand what to do and where to go. No one emerges from the womb knowing all this stuff.

Well except John Battlefield but he was a freak of nature.
