V/O Language Options & Address Support-Class Operator Diversity

Hello EA/DICE team,

First of all, thank you for the tremendous work you’ve put into Battlefield 6.
Many of us appreciate the improved gunplay, the map design, and the renewed focus on combined-arms combat.

However, I would like to respectfully raise two issues that are being discussed widely in the community — issues related to player choice, audio language, and operator diversity, all of which affect immersion and accessibility.

1. Please restore audio-language selection (e.g., English voice with any UI language)

In the beta, players were able to freely choose their preferred voice language while keeping their interface/subtitles in another language.
This is a standard feature in nearly all modern AAA titles.

In the full release, however, this option has been removed.
Players are now forced to use only the localized voice pack tied to the selected region/language.

For many players — especially those who enjoy military-themed games, watch military films, or prefer authentic radio calls — the localized voice direction simply does not fit the tone or atmosphere of a modern military shooter.
This directly affects immersion.

We are not requesting removal of localized voices — simply the freedom to choose.
A simple in-game setting such as:

Voice Audio: Any language
Text & UI: Any language

…would fully resolve the issue and immediately improve player experience worldwide.

This is a quality-of-life feature, not a technical or resource-heavy request.

2. Support-class operator diversity is paywalled (NATO faction)

Many players are also concerned about the operator lineup — not the existence of female operators, but the lack of choice within specific classes.

Currently, in the NATO faction:

Every default Support-class operator is female
There is no free or base-game male Support operator
The first and only male Support operator is locked behind a premium bundle that requires purchasing a full 2,700-credit package

This effectively puts basic voice and gender variety behind a paywall.

To be clear:

This is not about rejecting female operators.
It is about player choice, immersion, and fairness.
No military-themed shooter should lock a fundamental identity choice behind a premium bundle.

A healthier model would include:

At least one male and one female Support operator available by default
Additional premium cosmetics/operators sold as optional upgrades (not mandatory to access basic variety)

This would avoid the perception that the game is monetizing core identity options.

3. Why these issues matter

Battlefield attracts many players who deeply enjoy military themes — people who follow real-world tactics, equipment, and voice comms.
For these players, audio and operator representation are major components of immersion.

Additionally:

Many international players want English voice because it aligns with the NATO/PMC tone of the game.
Many local-language players still want local subtitles.
Many immersion-focused players want at least one male Support operator without needing to buy a premium bundle.

These requests do not diminish the work of the localization team or the value of premium cosmetics.
They simply give players the freedom to customize their experience, which has been a long-standing strength of the Battlefield franchise.

4. What we kindly ask
Please consider:
Restoring full audio-language selection, as was available in the beta.
Adding at least one free male Support operator for the NATO faction to ensure baseline player choice.
Continuing to offer additional premium DLC/operators without restricting fundamental character diversity behind paywalls.

These changes would be widely appreciated and would significantly improve immersion and accessibility for a large portion of the player base.

Thank you for reading and for your ongoing support of the game.
We all want Battlefield 6 to succeed and grow stronger over time.
