So there's still no reply from EA about this.

I'm not one to spit my dummy or cry about things, so I'm not going to make out like there's anything I can do about this to hurt EA. There isn't, and it's clear that they don't care.

I will definitely never buy another game from EA. After all, this proves that I can't trust their products or the company. After being a customer for many, many years, they've had the last they'll ever get from me. That's the only thing I can do, so I will.
