As I imagined from the patch notes, strikepoint has not been reinstated. I haven't accessed the game in weeks now, but I downloaded a 27 GB update today just in the hope of finding that mode activated by surprise... instead, disappointed once again... I asked for a refund. GOODBYE, never again a DICE game.
I really think this is their goal... I'm already playing their biggest competition and I'm eagerly awaiting MW4... but do you know what I think? They'll reactivate it shortly before MW4's release, touting it as "by popular demand" as the "great return" of Strikepoint... that's simply what I read between the lines.
It really is shockingly bad by DICE. They also just removed Tactical Obliteration, another great 8v8 mode. Guess they want the players to go to the competitor
I hope any guy/girl who works at DICE will answer...but I have no faith in this
