Right now the flash hider only removes spotting markers, but the actual muzzle flash in-game hasn’t been reduced at all. When will this attachment finally fulfill its proper function? Is this an intentional choice from the dev team, or an issue that hasn’t been properly addressed?
it indeed hides the spotting. And if you use brake it will be a red dot right above ur head when firing
I've tried it on a few guns and it seems smaller on a couple but not all, but If the visual flash hasn't been reduced or changed shape at all in-game, that's a missing visual effect from the devs. But if you're expecting it to fully eliminate the flash, that's not its proper function. Flash hiders just change a blinding fireball into a smaller starburst so the shooter doesn't blind themselves in the dark, I don't use them cause im not 100% certain it even hides the in-world spotting when firing so i just use suppressors or a Brake.
