Why are we letting pc players playing in the same servers as controllers

I’d like to share some feedback regarding crossplay between PC and console players.

I believe allowing PC players to play in the same matchmaking pool as Xbox and PlayStation players creates an unfair competitive experience. PC players have advantages such as more precise mouse and keyboard controls, higher frame rates, customizable graphics settings, and other hardware benefits that can make gameplay easier compared to console.

Many popular competitive games either separate PC and console matchmaking by default or give console players the option to disable crossplay without significantly affecting matchmaking. I think Battlefield 6 would benefit from a similar system.

Please consider adding:

  • Console-only matchmaking (Xbox and PlayStation together).
  • Separate PC matchmaking by default.
  • An easier way for console players to disable PC crossplay without negatively affecting queue times.

I enjoy Battlefield and want the game to succeed. I believe these changes would make matches feel more balanced and enjoyable for console players.

Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.

Does it really make a difference anymore when over half of console players are cheaters with cronus and other hardware spoofs?

  • PC players are not allowed to turn off crossplay, so they are forced to play with console players, while console players have the ability to turn off cross play, so if you are a console player, turn off cross play, if you are a PC player, you are out of luck.
