Skin and Animation Filtering Option in Battlefield

Hello Battlefield team,

I’d like to share an idea that could improve the overall player experience while balancing immersion and customization.

Many players enjoy skins and special animations, but others feel they break the realistic atmosphere that Battlefield is known for. Right now, it’s hard to satisfy both groups at once.

👉 My proposal: A filtering system in the settings

Character skins: Players could disable all fantasy skins or hide only specific ones they dislike, replacing them with default military outfits.

Weapon skins: Option to block only the flashy/unrealistic designs while keeping others.

Animations/executions: Ability to filter out dances, unrealistic finishers, or other cosmetic animations.

Custom catalog: Players could manually choose which skins/animations to display or hide, rather than being forced into a global ON/OFF.

✅ Benefits:

Preserves immersion for players who value realism.

Allows cosmetic fans to keep enjoying (and purchasing) skins.

Prevents the community from being split between “purists” and “casuals.”

Shows that Battlefield listens to all kinds of players.

This system would let everyone shape their own experience without impacting others. I believe it could be a win-win solution for both the players and the game.

Thanks for considering this suggestion, and keep up the great work!

    Hello saada7549

I've moved over your post on the English forums since you posted in English on the French forums.

Apart from that, this is a great suggestion. We'll pass it on.
