Battlefield 6 Official settings for Hardcore mode
Hi, these are my thoughts for the official settings for the Hardcore mode. I might have forgotten important settings for HC mode, so for the readers, feel free to comment additional thoughts.
The HUD that pertains to the soldier should be OFF, with the exception of the compass. Unless, you want to implement a wrist watch that shows the compass on the left hand. As the HUD is OFF for Mag count, i would like to see my magazines on my plate carrier while using the inspect key( just a thought)
I am sort of divided on wether objectives should be shown at all times or not.
Access to the "big" map of course. The M key.
3d spotting OFF of course.
Soldier health at 60
Headshot multiplier 2x, Chest 1x and arms/legs 0.9x or feel free to go back to BF3 or 4s damage multipliers. BF2 had a 3x Headshot, Body 1x and arms/legs had 0.7. Maybe a Poll should be made.
No regeneration of health or other gadgets.
I would like to see the hit markers OFF, both the sound and graphical indication.
The Hud for capturing / arming Mcoms should be ON and also the kill feed.
Friendly fire- ON
Absence of soldier crosshairs
Weapons reload full magazines, unfired rounds are not kept in reserve.
Suppression like bf3. Yes Battlefield 3 suppression is soarly needed once again for strategical purposes. I believe this was the most underrated/missundrstood feature we had. Suppressive fire is needed to pin down players to keep them from peeking around corners, deny players from entering an alley or crossing a street. Most important is the ability to suppress snipers, hindering them from making 100%accurate shots on players on big open maps and spaces. When the smoke grenades are spent, you dont have anything else to counter with. If you do want to try to kill the sniper, it would atleast take 2-4 shots to kill him from a distance. With the ability to reduce the snipers accuracy, me and the team can run more freely and take turns suppressing them during sprints across the open maps.

Vehicle health regen-OFF
Minimap- Disabled
Killcam-OFF
