Account Progress Has Been Reset
I received a 7 day ban for breaching TOS which for the record nothing that breaches TOS was said so the ban was a false ban.
The 7 days has passed and I am no longer banned so I loaded up my account to find my entire accounts progress has been reset. Note I still own my purchases and still have my badges, dog tags etc.
It said I was level 0 which I was certain was impossible as the start level is 1. I made a couple changes to my profile banner which would not let me change the person on my profile just my banner.
I then decided to restart my game to see if it was a simple glitch and found it reset my banner that i just edited and my level was still 0.
I contacted EA support chat and after strenuous conversation with automated responses he finally spoke himself and the conversation is as follows:
EA: please launch your game
Me: ok
EA: let me know once your game has launched
Me: my game has launched and i am now in the lobby
EA: has the problem been fixed?
Me: No. My account progress is still reset.
The conversation then ceased and went back to automated responses and then him immediately ending the chat.
To my knowledge the punishment of a 7 day ban is not being able to use your account for 7 days not a full reset of your account.
I am currently still in the progress of speaking with a different customer support person to attempt to have this fixed.
