Hi there. Did you purchase BF6 for PC also? Purchasing the game on PS does not grant it on all platforms.

This is inaccurate as its an issue within the game. It has nothing to do with the account as other systems besides PC work.

Same problem here, my account doesn't appear to be banned, I played 2042 just fine on PC and I can play BF6 perfectly fine on PS5 with the same account linked, please hekp someone, I'm still paying for EA Play on PC but cant play.
Edit: This is definitely an EA launcher problem, can confirm it lauches fine for me on Steam and PS5 with the same account, please guys whats the issue here? I'm not getting my EA play rewards since I assume i need to be playing from the EA launcher

I was playing last night just fine but tonight I get this Account Restricted error. I checked my EA account just to make sure I wasn't banned or had any suspensions but there was no history, I then go and follow EA's trouble shooting guide (clearing cache and changing my DNS I even reinstalled the application) I wasted my night when I could be enjoying a game I want to play. My account should not be banned and I should not be restricted access to a game I paid money for. This is very disappointing and frustrating.

So I have been playing on Xbox because I've been torn on using Steam or the EA app. I have Xbox's Game Pass Ultimate so I get a 10% discount or whatever.
I am using my stream PC and downloaded BF6/Redsec on it via Steam and EA. I have no issues launching the game on Xbox, or Steam, however, when launching the game from EA, I get the online restrictions or whatever.
It has to be a server side issue and they're likely working on it. If you want to start playing, download it via Steam and you'll sign into your EA account. Seems to work fine that way for me!
EDIT. Also wanted to note I have no penalties on my account

Im experiencing the situation as you, I play on PS5 were I bought the game but tried downloading it today on my pc, mainly because i thought it could look better on it(didnt buy just REDSEC), but it says im restricted but have no penalties on my account. It happened also on the first time launching the game on pc. Im just leaving a message so I can come back to this thread and maybe find a solution...
Hello, I faced such a problem, I was presented with the Battlefield 6 game on steam, I play it successfully, and now I wanted to buy a new battle pass about the version! I went to the EA website and successfully purchased a battle pass to my account, but when I enter the game I don't have a battle pass (more than 12 hours have passed), after a long search for a solution to the problem on the Internet, I was advised to download the EA launcher and enter the game through it and activate the battle pass (my EA account is linked to Battlefield 6 on Steam). After installing the game in the EA launcher, a window pops up with the inscription "account restricted battlefield 6" (screen will be attached), after which I started looking for a solution to the problem on the Internet and realized that I was blocked for something. Be kind to help me in this not easy situation! (At the time of writing this report, I never got a battle pass). Thank you in advance!

Hi Ziftix,
I'm sorry, but we can't really help much with bans here. The only people who handle them are EA's Terms of Service team.
However, you can contact them to appeal the ban, and the guide below should allow you to initiate the appeal. They will investigate and respond with their decision.

It's some kind of vicious circle.
