Bad CPU FPS

Hello, i have problems with FPS in game. My ingame graph says, i have much lower CPU fps than GPU. It causes stuttering on 280hz screen.

I realized that my CPU FPS is alot lower than GPU fps in game, while GPU can push about 380fps in game, my CPU pushing only about 150fps

Does anybody know some fix? I guess my CPU can  handle this with only 1 hand.

My PC specs are : RTX 4070, 9800X3D, 6000mhz ram

Hezban thank you for posting a screenshot.

The DDR4 RAM looks good. It's in dual channel mode and XMP 3200MHz overclocking is enabled.

The CPU frequency looks good with an average of 3800MHz. I would think that's fast enough for 60fps in Battlefield 6.

You say the CPU framerate is dropping below 60fps? Please post a screenshot with the FPS Performance Overlay set to Advanced.

  • OskooI_007 This is what its looking like. I also tried with a controller but there is no difference.

also it is in swedish. Do not know how to change it, sorry :(

  • Hello, I had a problem right after downloading the game: it lagged really badly, even though I updated everything, enabled Security Boot in the BIOS, and did a data recovery in Steam. Nothing helped, only downloading 32 MB of anti-cheat files.
Everything was fine the next day, but it went away on its own. Yesterday, the same problem started again in the evening. Even though I was playing 180 fps during the day without any lag, it dropped to 30 fps in the evening. I even updated to Windows 11 and reinstalled the game. What should I do?

  • virten there's a mouse polling bug in the game engine that's causing mouse stutter. The game engine is polling the mouse at 125Hz.

    It's not even a consistent 125Hz. It's an inconsistent and choppy 125Hz.

It will require a code fix of mouse input by the game developers. So far they haven't acknowledged the mouse stutter bug exists.

PSA: Mouse Input is broken in this game looks similar to bad frame timing | EA Forums - 12734467

Okinouko tested BF6's polling rate with MouseTester.

125Hz mouse polling test in BF6

    8ms polling = 125Hz

    1000ms ÷ 8ms = 125Hz

If you use a Xbox controller instead of a mouse, the game will play butter smooth.

  • I have the same issue only that my cpu goes down to around 50fps and is making the game unplayable.
