Battlefield 6 Dashboarding/ crash to home - Xbox Series X

I have been on the absolute worst journey and it’s been the most frustrating experience and cost me way too much money at this point. 

I love battlefield 6 - I am a veteran fan of the franchise having played since Bad Company 1. I’ve played every game since then and BF is my favourite franchise.

Battlefield 6’s launch has been a point of pure excitement for me as a return to form for the franchise after 2042. Over the Beta, I couldn’t play for more than 5-10 minutes without a crash, Xbox was overheating and the game would crash to the dashboard without fail. I stopped playing as I was scared it would do permanent damage to my console. I loved this minutes of gameplay I was getting which made the crashing all the more frustrating.

I tried every fix I could find online at the time (power cycle, clear space on my console, move to internal storage, multiple graphical settings, network settings etc.) none of this worked.

I have since paid £60 to bring my Xbox to a specialist near me in London and had the whole console cleaned out and had the thermal paste replaced as they suggested it could be that causing the problem.

With that service completed I had one day without crashes, since then however, one day later and I’ve had crashes about every 30 mins of gameplay. Also I’ve noticed the console is not even hot when I’m crashing to dashboard, it’s staying cool and still crashing. I followed advice I found on Reddit, reduced my graphics settings and uninstalled the HD graphics packs - still no joy. 

I have seen reports on this across the EA forum, Reddit, X and YouTube - I know this is happening to a minority of people but it’s happening to a significant amount of people. EA/ Battlefield Studios/ Microsoft need to please acknowledge this is happening and help us find a route to fixing the problem - I’m £120 in the red having tried to fix a problem with a game that is functioning normally on the majority of consoles. Seeing other people’s stories about struggling with this has been helping to maintain my sanity but it’s just not good enough. Please acknowledge this problem and please help us rectify it - we’ve paid hard earned money for a game to enjoy with friends and the silence from the devs is deafening.
