Solved

Battlefield 6 freeze a couple of times before being able to play.

An issue I hade the last two days is, when launching the game it froze 1-2 minutes in.
Computer was responding. Alt-tab to other programs worked and they were working.
But ALT-F4:ed Battlefield made my whole computer freeze instead.
Had to restart it (hard reset)
Same thing again.
3-4 times same result then it worked and I could play normally.

Same both days.
What I noticed the last day was that my discord call still functioned ~30 seconds after the pc froze.

I havent had this issue occur during any other game or during the beta.

  • Update. Might have solved it.

Read somewhere that The anticheat "locks" the gpu while scanning or something.

So in powersettings change the advanced settign PCI Express - Powersaving for link to Off

Also disabled Steam adn Discord Overlay.
But think the PCI Express powersaving was the fix.

Third day with the same problem. After 4 restarts it works fine. Nothing in the event viewer. Normal cpu usage and normal gpu usage. I know when its a "bad" start because it lags. Fourth time it didnt lag then it played fine.
Also got corrupt save file today, probably caused by the hard reset.
