Battlefield 6 unplayably slow on my sons PC
Sorry for my bad english. My son wants to play Battlefield 6. Therefor he bought an RTX5060ti (16gb) and replaced his GTX1080 with it. But Battlefield 6 is unplayable, like slo mo and you cant hit enemies.
His specs are:
Asus ROG Strix B550F Gaming WiFi Board
Ryzen 9 3900x CPU
64Gb 3200Mhz RAM
Win10-System on SSD, game installed on new Samsung M2
750 watts PSU
Samsung Curved FullHD display with 60hz
We tried for some days a lot of troubleshooting and fixes:
- uninstall GPU-drivers with ddu and reinstall fresh
- updated BIOS and changed some settings so the CPU runs up to 4,4Ghz and the RAMs are detected correctly
- disable fullscreen optimization
- deactivate HD-Textures
- Priority Mode for BF6
- Running as administrator
- Tried with windows gaming mode on and off
- Updated every drivers
- let Nvidia Software optimize the game
- creating a user.cfg
- tried every graphic setting in game from ultra to low in every variantion
- checking and analyze thermal situation over long time from cpu (new thermal paste was applied a day before)
All with the same result: The BF6 Performance overlay shows very good fps and ms for the GPU but the CPU is totally bad with most of the time 40-55fps.
Gaming feels slow, jerky and unprecise. Sometimes you stop walking and the character just walk on for 2 or 3 steps.
It it totally unplayable in Conquest. My son says in smaller modes like tdm and similar he can play "ok".
Is there ANY solution, so my son can finally play. He is very sad, cause he bought a 450€ GPU and is unable to play the game :-(
