BF6 13900k Usage at 100%

Hey guys I’m posting this again I know there are a lot of post with the intel series chips and how they have been running on this game! I’ve tried most of tips and tricks to try and limit my cpu usage.. other than undercoating currently. I was hoping one of you guys that are smarter could help me figure out what to do next I’m running

CPU-i9-13900k

msi z790 ddr 4

msi gaming trio 4090

32 gb of ram

I can’t seem to get this thing to not hit high 90s while playing in game this is the only game I’ve ever had issues with like this! I played battlefield 2042 with no issues! Again I know there is a lot of post on this just nothing seems to be helping my case

  • What settings are you running?

My 14900k runs at about 70% average load on each core/thread.

Do you have thermal throttling issues?

I have been monitoring temps on icue is there a better way I should be doing this?? Pump is on extreme 2700 rpm and my temps are pretty high 80-90 is this more of a cooling issue ?? If so would that also make my usage jump to 100% ?? Running arc raiders today I was around 70-80 cpu usage and 70-80 for temps on same setup.. ALL setting are pretty much as low as they can go

Download HWINFO 64, it'll give you more information than iCue will.

    https://www.hwinfo.com/download/

Use the portable version because it's easier.

Then one the game loads, go back to hwinfo, click the clock to reset the details, then play a round for maybe 5 minutes.

Alt-tab back and screenshot the sensors display. Make sure you scroll down to also get the GPU info with additional screenshots.

What PC case do you have? The 13900k is 3 years old, when you installed what I'm guessing is the corsair AIO was that three years ago as well? Or more recently. Have you cleaned the PC fans & radiator in a while?

What resolution is the game on? Are you using DLSS?

Would CPU temp cause my usage to go up tho?! From what I understand that’s the other way around no?

Get HWINFO 64 portable and run the game while the hwinfo gets data. alt-tab after say 5 minutes and post screenshots of the CPU, motherboard & GPU information.
