    I just fixed it for me! 

     Problem was = the faulty new windows security patch kb512401

    Just unistalled this in the update menu  and the game runs fine!

I guess you all just updated KB5124010, right? My game started crashing after I updated.

    Yep, and this update can't be uninstalled.
