BF6 Connectivity/Ping Issues

Having issues with connectivity specifically to large modes on BF6 using official servers. I am using a wired connection, and the issue only occurs with the BF6 official servers. I just want to be able to play the game. Sounds like it's a widespread problem, and am just wanting to get a solution so I can enjoy the game properly. Please provide any solution information.

Parchment_Ape RAM speed looks good at 3600MHz.

CPU speed looks good at an average of 4000MHz.

I'm not sure why CPU fps is still below 60fps. I've heard disabling simultaneous multithreading (SMT) in motherboard BIOS might boost CPU performance on Ryzen 9 processors. I don't know if it's true or not but worth a try.

Parchment_Ape maybe the CPU is overheating and thermal throttling. You can see max CPU temperature in HWiNFO.

CPU temperature should never go above 80-90°C.

Parchment_Ape I also noticed AMD-V is red in HWiNFO System Summary. It's probably disabled in motherboard BIOS. It doesn't seem like it would affect CPU performance but it's another thing to try turning on/off.

  • This seems to have restored functionality after initial tests. Thank you so much for all the help!

Are you referring to disabling SMT or something else?

  • I think it was a mix of enabling and disabling SMT. Worked a bit better after the memory overclocking runs as smooth as butter now that I've disabled SMT. Seriously, thanks again for all the help dude. I really appreciate it. <3
