I honestly can't believe that this was what did it, but it works. I can now game on the newest drivers (26.8.1) without crashing. It was the AMD High Definition Audio Device and AMD Streaming Audio Device in my Device Manager. These control audio through DisplayPort and HDMI so it plays on monitor speakers. After disabling these devices like I show in my screenshot, I have zero issues running the game. I don't understand the mechanics, but this fixed it for me. I have a 9800X3D and a 9070XT. Please give it a try if you are having issues, I used to crash a few minutes into the game but have just played multiple matches on newest drivers after being forced to use 26.3.1 for months. 👍
Who would've thought... I don't know how you came by this solution but I can confirm.
If the problem was: BF crashing your entire PC - no bluescreen, no back to desktop - freeze after ~3minutes incl. disabled hardware and broken drivers after restart
Give this a try.
I disabled the same devices on my end. No other changes.
I was able to finish a round without getting above fail with 26.8.1 drivers!
edit: played some more rounds last evening - still no crash
Can't thank you enough!
And to EA - you owe me ~3 weeks of progression and a new Battlepass as I was unable to play!
EA_LunardustCat tagging you for visibility and please forward this to the team
BOTnarenko this is not the fix for you. Hung drivers are best fixed by lowering the clock speed. And not by a small amount. In another game with the same problem I had to lower my 7900XTX down to 2200 MHz.
