BF6 failing to place me into my party's matches (console problem?)

I play on the Xbox Series X. No error code to report on this one.

This happens to my friends & I on console whenever we squad up (we're usually partied up with pc & console players), the party leader searches for match, and for whatever reason, everyone else in the party gets automatically placed into the game, but on my end the game will just do nothing and keep me on the menu. It's like half of my games at this point. I then try to join their game in-progress and it just puts me in a queue. I feel like this is a widespread problem on console since it isn't just me experiencing it, and this happened to me on the beta as well. It's extremely frustrating and needs to be patched ASAP, since this is a game best enjoyed in a full party of people who can coordinate, and this glitch ruins that.
