So it turns out I do not have the most updated version of Windows 10, I bought my PC from a friend and she hadn't updated it in forever, so I was stuck on version 1909. Going on a whole journey to get that updated - needed to flash several BIOS upgrades sequentially, now upgrade windows 10 sequentially until I'm at the most recent version. Hoping that does the trick.

Hi there, BF6 is not launching for me in Steam, when I try to open the game I get this error message:

I have tried several things:

restarting my computer
reinstalling EA Javelin Anticheat
reinstalling the game
running the game as well as the Anticheat as an administrator
running the game in compatibility mode
allowed the game in Windows anti-virus
verified integrity of game files in Steam
installed/repaired Visual C++ files

Has anyone else encountered this? Can anyone help?

I ran file checker and I deleted all my temp files. Then I repaired my C++ files and reset my computer and that fixed it. Just posting some more solutions into the thread for anyone who also crashed out for 3 days over this

# I found a solution, and it works perfectly. Our machines or OSs are not the problem, the main problem is that Javelin starts (performing a reinstall), which is where the issue occurs. So we need to skip this idiot stage/step, and here is how:
1- You log in with your Email in Steam / EA app
2- Unplug your internet connector from the router/pc (Javelin will load the stable version)
3- Your game (any game that needs Javelin to launch) will launch without any issues
4- Once the game launches, plug your internet connector back into the router/pc

I have the same issue but with EA Sports FC 24 with the same directory. C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe(7)(2) since 23/11/ 2025. I was in the playing the game when it crashed and upon launching I've been stuck with the same error. I even formatted my pc but still no solution so please don't waste your time like I did. It's an problem with EA and don't even bother contacting them because they won't give you a clear solution.

Did you find a solution? Im giving up, and I have a very good gaming laptop, every other game runs fine but not Battlefield... Thank you Anticheat. I did every single troubleshooter support advised me to do, and nothing. Its been a month.

I bought BF6 from Epic Games, and it's installed on the EA app. The game freezes every 10 minutes and doesn't recover until I restart it. Also, RedSec can't be installed from the game or the EA app. I gave up on BF6, thinking I'd try playing it with RedSec, but that didn't work either.
