I have a similar issue. No fix that I found on the internet has worked. EA support has been rather unhelpful. After I submitted a help request they told me to wait for "the investigation to be finished" and marked my ticket as completed. They didn't tell me how I'd be notified when such a investigation is finished, or give an estimate of when it'll be finished. :(
