If it's unsustainable to offer everyone a persistent server, they should not do that in the first place.
The server rental program in bf3 and bf 4 was better than persistent server this now. When everything is free, tends to be a lot of slops, it's the reality of it.
But it's too late for this game though, maybe next game they can bring server rental for paid subscription, keep temporary server hosting for free though.
I agree BF3/4 system would have been better. But custom persistent servers are necessary, and they promised it to us this way. They need to make it work as is or institute rent a server again. I can't even join most user created portal servers on Breakthrough or Conquest, and I haven't been able to host my own since launch day. If they are unable to fix this or provide a viable alternative, it's false advertising.
