I was excited for portal, want to try newly created Experiences, until met with this freaking error!
I'm disappointed, what's the point of portal if you can't paly your own Experiences.
Get more servers, EA apparently is a 55 billion dollar company!

We need our own BF6 server software!! So we dont have to rely on EA to provide a good connection. Hell I would even pay for software like that for BF6. Way too many problems have to rely on a Game developer to make sure you have a good connection. I remember in BF3 I rented a server from a hosting provider for a dedicated experience. Then I found out about modded client Venice Unleashed to host a private server with more customization options and dumped the hosting provider and ran my own dedicated BF3 server at home!
Too bad EA still has not learned their lesson on private game servers.
I started getting this error yesterday (Saturday October 11) around 10 pm when I took my portal server down to adjust the settings. I tried multiply times after that up until 2 am to host the server again but keep getting the same error. I just got on BF6 for the first time today (6:45 pm October 12) and get the same message. So basically I can't host a portal server at the moment after having no issues with this on Friday and most of Saturday. For reference I am EST.
Update: Rush works, but Breakthrough and Conquest will still not let me put up a server. Additionally, my Rush server is set to 32 players with bot backfill, however it says 24/32 players count and there are only 23 bots and myself on the server. Yesterday before the issues this server had full 32 players on it.
I am having this same issue too. Custom is the only way to host locally but I cannot select a game mode and I want to play by myself. I want to make intros for my videos but I cant do that with the nuance of bots killing me or altering my environment. Also we cant test fly without bots right now which is annoying.
Yeah, why I can't host local game, if it's not "custom Portal mode"? Wtf? Where is the big simple button "play locally with bots"? I don't play multiplayer at all, I only play BF6 with bots - and I have to create my own custom "Portal experience" just to do that - and even then you can't host local game if you're using standard game mode. Why? You afraid people will cheat to get xp? (not possible on ps5, but ok) I don't care about xp, it's just a pew pew shooter, it's not MMO - just disable it for local games if you want. Old games are so much better and simplier - in BF Vietnam I could just start local game without any headache, without xp, global progress, badges and all this nonsense
Unsure what it could be. I started getting the same thing yesterday evening. I hosted one, then another, and a bit later in the evening went to host one and started getting that. Played a few other modes, tried again, did stuff around the house, tried again, up until about 2 AM. Today I popped on in the morning several times, then the afternoon, and now in the evening, and it's consistently giving the same message about 'servers at capacity'.
Quick update for me, I just tried again after changing the original 'experience' name and not adding a password and it let me host one. Could be coincidence, though.
Been one HUGE Disappointment after another for our entire online group... first the EA App / Re Buy issue, no play for us day one, and ever since no Portal Experiences have been able to be loaded. GLOBAL QUOTA EXCEEDED.

Well it worked we were so excited... which has led to one disappointment after another !
Regardless of the capacity problem, we should be able to host any mode locally, I genuinely don't understand why we can't.
Half truth , they are partly truthful that the server error is persistent. LOL
