Same here, i bought this game for 80$ but i can't even played for 3 hours now

almost wanting refund at this point

If anyone is having error  code 1:85009S (not the errors in this post), reinstalling windows solves the issue. Everyone who did it, fixed it this way, including me. 
It seems to be an error with GlobalProtect VPN, that even after uninstalling it can't be fixed.

15 DAYS!!

Did some more research and Google says EA can’t block certain IP addresses per se , but there’s definitely a routing issue that Seems to only occur in certain regions of the world . I’m using cloudflare and I also use a Ethernet and it still doesn’t help . So again, this points back to a routing issue with the destination (EA) server because other games and internet services work fine for me 

Have you solved this error? I'm having the same problem, and I can't log in to the game for 3 days

VPN  fail
Internet fail
Reset Router 

but I connect Mobire internet5G  is worked 

I'M BACK ON!! So turns out my EA account that was linked to my Steam account was an old account, i went and unlinked that account and linked my EA account to the one i use now. And I've been able to get on! Go check that your EA account is linked to whatever your playing on,xbox or steam!

The game works with my WLAN network. Just if I use LAN network it will be "blocked". Both networks are from the same router. So it can´t be that it is blocked from my provider.
