Constant Latency Variation

The game always stutters, lags and causes input delay at random moments in the game, but mainly during gunfights with the latency variation symbol popping up.

I've tried reducing certain settings ingame and watching videos to fix latency but it still persists.

I'm running on an RTX 4090, Ryzen 5950x (full specs here:- https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/Y9BcCJ)

Latency-1

Latency-2

Latency-3

  • Also it doesnt help without the user.cfg file. If anything it just breaks worse if you dont write a configuration file telling the games file how many cores you want it to run on, i went through hell and back to find out writing that file with half my cores and processors is literally the only way to fix these problems on my cpu

  • Core parking works better than flat out disabling half the cpu. Windows will interfere with the game and drop your fps even more. I tested this it runs better parked on my 5900x. I also use process lasso and park my background apps on my back ccd. Alot of hassle but it helps with latency on all games

Turn off V-Sync and use RTSS to limit the FPS and activate both Nvidia Reflex: Ultra ingame and Low Latency Mode: Ultra in the Nvidia App for the game also make sure Triple Buffering is off for the game. You have to play the game with G-Sync and without V-Sync or else it keeps activating Framegen for whatever reason and that causes stuttering and frametime drops.

And atm you have to be "Offline" in your Steam Friendslist, or else it causes stuttering ingame because of anti cheat. The game has so many problems it's not funny anymore, I mean you can't even change your loadout if your are downed, then you are softlocked and have to go back to the main menu, it's ridiculous what a buggy mess this game is.

  • Ish11K that's the low fps icon.

Simulation (SIM) is dropping below 60fps in your videos.

Since you have Ryzen 5950x with two CCD. Go into motherboard BIOS and disables all the cores on one of the CCD.

You can also download Ryzen Master app and enable game mode. This will also disable one of the CCD, but unfortunately also disables simultaneous multi threading (SMT).

If I don't reply to your post then personal message me. Sometimes the forum fails to notify me when someone replies.

  • Same issues on mine and my brothers 5900x. Its not AMD, its EA. It runs alot better for me parking it on half my cores with a user.cfg file, also using process lasso to balance cores and enable the ultimate performance power plan to keep your cores running at full speed in game. It reduces latency speeding up the clock when the game inevitably spikes. I still have horrible hit registration and occasional network icons but its a hell of alot better than it was
