Day 3 of Can't connect to servers

Going on day 3 of not being able to play any ea games. I think i narrowed it down to an internet thing because when I connect my Xbox to my Hotspot from my phone it works fine. But my wired and wifi internet that is working perfectly fine after all the test I did spent hours yesterday trying to fix it. Doesn't work. I run test on internet side. We are good. I check servers on your end they are good. But I cant connect and I see im not the only one. Please help. Hotspot only goes so far...

I am also having problems, lots of rubber banding and lag, latency spikes, and getting booted to main menu with unknown error messages. I've ran test after test and my internet is good enough that I shouldn't be having these crippling issues.

Hi there. Can you tell me what troubleshooting you've tried so far? If you can connect through a hotspot, most likely there's an issue with your home network. We'll go through some troubleshooting, but I'd like to avoid anything you've already tried. Thanks!

  • Same, very odd. I could not connect to the game. Re opened EA launcher, tried to repair and got stuck at redsec at 0%. Also my avatar profile no where to be seen.

Restarted computer, went through all over again, and now it is ok

Ive done regular trouble shooting. Ive tried switching ports as well for my ethernet cord. Ai is telling me to change other settings I have no idea how to get too. I even tried switching to apex and on apex it logs me in and gets me to a match and then lags me out instantly.

Since you can connect on a different connection, this would be an issue with your ISP. Have you talked to them about this yet?

  • AlienAstronaut log into your home router and put the Xbox console in the demilitarized zone (DMZ). This will allow the console to bypass the home router's firewall.

Also give the Xbox console a static IP address in router settings so the Xbox IP address never changes.
