Days without being able to play Battlefield 6 after Patch 1.1.1.0
Last week, I purchased Battlefield 6, redeemed the key on the EA APP, and played for about 3 or 4 hours. However, after the update to 1.1.1.0, a window appeared stating that the configuration was wrong and the game would not load. Photo attached.
Before the patch the other day, 1.1.1.0, which included Redsec, the game was working correctly—online and campaign. I tried everything:
- Repairing the game from the EA APP. Without results.
- Uninstalling and reinstalling. Without results.
- Uninstalling the game, uninstalling the EA APP, uninstalling all EA programs, deleting all EA settings in all system folders, even hidden ones. Without results.
- Disabling all security options for the game and the EA anticheat. Without results.
- Updating the drivers (they were already updated, but I reinstalled them several times, cleanly; the game was working before the update, I did this just to rule it out).
Finally, since the error mentioned a "configuration failure", I went to the Nvidia app, where games are optimized, and clicked "Optimize" to create a configuration file. With this action, the game now loads, and I can play in the firing range and the campaign mode.
However, when I enter any lobby for an online or practice match, the entire computer freezes. Nothing can be done except pressing the reset button. It doesn't seem like a graphics issue because the campaign and the firing range work fine; it seems like something in the game is blocking the PC. Photo attached showing where it freezes:
Even today, I still cannot play. This is an embarrassment; more than the money, it's my lost time. I was already hesitant to buy a video game because of the time it makes me lose when I play it, and now I find myself spending several days trying to make it work, checking forums, and losing my time on nothing. These people have no excuse for selling a product like this.
I demand that someone from EA reply to me and explain what is happening, and if this is a known issue. If so, I will not invest any more time and will wait for them to fix it.
