Deploy beacon unable to be equip.

Since Battlefield 6 changed the requirements for some in-game challenges, for me specifically I am unable to equip the Deploy Beacon gadget even though the challenge has been completed.

I have been waiting for an update to fix this issue however after a while it still has not been fixed. 

Has anyone found a good way to get around this issue or is it simply a matter of waiting for them to fix it...
