Nobody should be allowed to rage or be toxic towards other players. it easily becomes a vicious cycle affecting people reading the chat.
That said i dont think it warrants a perma ban. Ideally behaviour like that should just result in being excluded from using chat and Voice chat. This perma ban seems like a lazy solution / cash grab from EA.
If i were you i would create a ticket on ea help. They can provide a clear answer to your question. And remember to save the transcript after you talked with the support. So you have a solid case should that supporter give you bad advice

It is on point here to be banned at least from chat and voice chat, sure. Btw, I did not use the voice chat. None of the people actually does in my games at least I havent notice them.
I Agree that it was bad... and punishment should be served. But perma EA account BAN ?? where is the mute mechanics punishment ? Iam not one of those who want to play the game to just rage on people, I just want to play the game without being trolled.
I proposed to EA to perma mute me without any exception I deserve a BAN definetely yes... but a pernament one ?
Dont expect them to change their decision they have strict guidelines. But atleast you can find out if you can buy another copy without being insta banned on that one. Next time when you spot a cheater report him, block him, And leave the match. That way you atleast wont be in anymore matches with that guy.
I myself also suffer from a short temper from time to time. And have learned Its not worth your time or energy to rage on cheaters, you just end up feeding the troll.

Regarding my appeal for my account , I found out that the 7-day suspension scheduled from August 22 to August 29, 2025, was never actually applied to my account.
My account history indicates a prior 7-day suspension scheduled from August 22 to August 29, 2025. Critically, I never received any email notification for this initial suspension. BETA was the first was August 9–10, and the second was August 14–17. The first and only official communication I received regarding any account penalty was the email on October 24, 2025, notifying me of the permanent ban. I only became aware of the August suspension today, by manually checking my account status after receiving the ban notice.
Since the suspension was never enforced, I never received the intended warning they keep repeating. The permanent ban I later received therefore came without the mandatory and crucial warning step that their own escalation system requires. What is this ?
Still, I dont think it will change anything but how come I havent received any warning or temp ban or at least something ?
