ERROR CODE 1:85008S:20123264140:-2144600064Q

Battlefield 6 on PS5 disconnects exactly after 88 seconds every time on Wi-Fi. Error: 1:85008S:20123264140:-2144600064Q

Tested:

Wired PPPoE, static IP, NAT Type 2

UPnP on, DMZ tested

MTU 1400 (auto prevents login; 1400 works)

DNS 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4

LTE works fine, no disconnects

Other online games work fine

Looks like a UDP session timeout (~90 s) between client and EA servers.

  • The problem here is definitely not on the users' side! But the fact that the developers are ignoring this issue is incredibly sad! They should have released their own server patch a long time ago.

It's definitely a user side issue. I have now played like 10 hours since I swapped routers and I have not received that error code once. Before I couldn't even finish a game.

Replacing my AX5400 has worked for me as well, I was previously unable to finish matches without getting disconnected before & since replacing that router I haven't had a single issue over the past week playing for hours at a time. Thank you so much for this, it's been great being able to actually play again.
