Extreme Lag in Matches

Extreme rubber banding / lag in matches similar to what other players are experiencing . Unplayable at times.

In small matches I have no problems , large matches are consistent stuttering, packet loss and rubber banding .

Specs should comfortably run the game based on recommendations.

Hoping for a solution or other users have found a fix

Same issue here, I play through PC on steam. I found a steam forum post which may be the issue for my case and potentially yours. Go in your in-game settings and look at the bottom right and check your default tenancy. Mine currently reads PROD_DEFAULT-SANTIAGO-COMMON.

This is actually a Chile data center which is very far from where I live. I've reached out to support but haven't heard back about a fix yet, as this is not something I believe us players can go in and tweak/change.

I'm having this exact issue. If you figure anything out please let a brother know 😂

Your issue is probably that you are auto connecting to servers across the world. Open your settings and check in the bottom right where you are connected. I am auto connecting to servers in Santiago Chile and I'm in the US which makes the game unplayable. There are a lot of people online with this problem and zero response from EA. I have submitted a manual refund request to steam and they approved it. I recommend everyone with this issue does the same until EA actually cares.

Please see this post. This is a post I made when I found the correlation here.

I wonder if this issue even correlates to my cpu. In game performance runs great when I manually search for servers in my region. The unfortunate thing is most of the servers are bot farms and not the default game modes I want to play.

Where exactly in the settings do you go Find where your auto connecting to a server at? Do you just open the main settings menu and it’s somewhere on the bottom, right?

When I was in game, I would just hit escape on my keyboard and then it would show up on the bottom right
