Game crash to desktop after 1.1.2.0 update (launch, gameplay, map change)

Thank you for continuing to share your crash reports -- they’re genuinely helpful as we work through this issue. We know how frustrating this is, and we want to reassure you that the team is actively investigating the root cause.
‼️ Potential WorkaroundIn the meantime, we want to pass along a workaround that has helped some players (example here) get back in-game. We’re fully aware that a reinstall isn’t an ideal recommendation, and we’re conscious of the time it asks of you, but it has resolved the issue for a number of affected players:
- Uninstall the game
- Delete the Battlefield 6 folder in your Documents directory
- Reboot your PC
- Reinstall the game
This isn’t a fix, just a temporary measure that’s shown positive results for others while we continue working on a proper solution. We truly appreciate your patience and the time you’ve taken to send in reports. It genuinely helps us move faster toward a more permanent fix.
