Game crash to desktop after 1.1.2.0 update (launch, gameplay, map change)

I wonder if the game is somehow causing GPU clocks to go to high? 

yes the game seems to be very sensitive if you have any instability...lol.    for me with the new update,  I sometimes have a crash,  or menu bugs out when exiting a game too early.  its weird.  I have to restart game to join another one.  Hopefully they get it sorted.

Sadly I could not play much over the weekend and on monday, but what I did was I had a small OC on my GPU ( 100MhZ Chip / 500MhZ Video Memory on my 4090, which runs perfectly fine on every other game) so I removed that and I did not have one crash the last few days, but like i said, I could not play much. But today new update dropped and I guess we have new problems now, so....

I  only  play conquest,  and the All out warfare mode.  have you tried with vsync off just to sees if you still crash?  probably not the issue but you never know then nvidia  or ea will patch it.   Today I got a  crash joining  a new map  it said on some  server in the browser.   Got a direct x error crash and just figureds it was a shady server.    Other then that since the update I have been  getting black screens when  trying to leave a server  on occassion, after complaining  about it being stacked lol.     its very strange.    But if I just keep my head down,   I  cawn  go without crashing and I think it was a combination of not going over my v ram limit by lowering textures,  ands limiting  the frames to  mitigate cpu  spikes.  But obviously yeah some bugs in the game since update imo too brother.  I always chalk things up to malicious activity cause i'm paranoid lol

I stoppted crashing to desktop after lower my textures,  putting DLSS to  quality,   and limiting my frames.  I  feel the last part made the biggest and real difference.  Game runs very very stable for me even in heavy action.   The latest  nvidia drivers didn't really change anything for me.

I got a direct x gpu crash today though,   or  something error  message after trying to join the new map it said on some server in the  server browser.  Its the only  time it happened and I just chalked  it up to  I  joined some shady server.  lmao.  and they booted me  to make room for one of their friends in the most trashiest of ways.    You know,   I was asking for a server browser from EA,  I  was  really buying the hype of the game bringing pc gaming back.  But it actually seems  pretty dead by  my old man standards,  and none of the servers in the  browser are  appealing.  bummer.  Ty though EA.  I  appreciate it.

Ok what has worked best for me to prevent every 5 minutes crashes has been to put -"bEnableGlimpse 0" in the launch options on steam. I have only been crashing every 30 mins now, so it's a bit more playable than before.

I've tried EVERY suggested solution I can find on the internet. Can't get passed a couple matches before it starts. After the first crash, restart, then it crashes after one or less than one. I'm done with BF in general. Uninstalled, not looking back. It's unbelievable how much we pay for this "AAA" game and this is what we get. I've got no issues with any other game. EA needs to get it together.

This is spot on. I was having so much fun and then the most recent update absolutely ruined it. The most I've played is 20mins at a time. I want to play so bad but this is getting unbearable 

DLSS is on Quality already, FPS capped to 125. But I have VSync forced on in the driver, I need that because of the screen tearing. I have a 4090.

The beta did not crash once, and before Season 1 dropped I also had not a single crash. The crashes started with RedSec Update for me.

followed these steps, only nworked after reinstalling. finally! played a couple hrs no issues, log back in later today to see a perma ban for enhanced gameplay. wtf. never, ever cheated. literally dont know how to. my K/D was 1.3..
