I had a similar issue with an error for GPU when lauching the game, i solved it by turning the overclocking off (reset to default values) in my case. So if you have an OC GPU try this too.
Also check the latest drivers updates for GPU and turn the graphics down. Have you checked the usage of the VRAM and everything else while running the game ?
Unfortunately, I refunded because I was afraid I wouldn’t find a fix and the more time I spend on the game the less chance I get my refund. I did not have any OC and put my settings as low as possible. I have the most up to date drivers and even re installed them to be sure. I guess I will just wait for updates… seriously debating buying it on PS because I have a PS5 but then I have to pay 10$ every month just to play the game… Talk about a rock and a hard place.
