High Ping/Latency Issues in Saudi Arabia after Blastpoint Update (Season 3)
Hello,
I am writing to report a major connectivity issue I have been experiencing in Battlefield 6 following the recent 'Blastpoint' (Season 3) update released on June 9, 2026.
Before this update, my ping in the 'Gauntlet' game mode was stable at around 27ms. However, immediately after the update, my ping spiked to 170ms and remains consistently high. My internet connection is stable and high-speed (300 Mbps), and I am playing on an Xbox console. This issue is not specific to my network, as many players in the Saudi Arabia/Middle East region are reporting the exact same sudden latency increase.
It appears that the recent update has disrupted the matchmaking routing for the Middle East region, forcing players to connect to distant servers instead of the optimal local ones.
Please investigate this routing issue and provide a fix or a hotfix as soon as possible. We are eager to get back to the normal gaming experience we had before the update.
