Hotfix 1.1.3.1 micro stuttering still present after update

Hello Community !

I would like to share my experience with the latest hotfix (Update 1.1.3.1).

According to the patch notes, this update was supposed to address micro stuttering occurring at fixed intervals. However, in my case, the issue is still present and has not been resolved.

Before the last Manhattan / Winter update, the game was running perfectly smooth on my system. After that update, noticeable stutters and frame-time spikes started to appear, and this hotfix unfortunately did not bring any improvement.

For reference, my hardware is:
MOTHER: Z590 AORUS ELITE
GPU: RTX 5070 Ti
CPU: Intel i7 5.8 ghz 8 cores nad 16 trehads.
RAM: 32 GB DDR4 3000mhz

This is high-end hardware, so performance should not be an issue. Everything points to the problem being related to the recent updates rather than any system limitations.

Additionally, this is not an isolated case: thousands of players are reporting the exact same behavior across different forums and social platforms. This strongly suggests that the issue is widespread and directly linked to the latest patches.

I hope the development team takes another look at this, as the game was stable and smooth before the last major update, and the current stuttering significantly impacts the gameplay experience.

Regards !

    Specs: CPU: 9950x3d
    GPU: 7900 xtx
    RAM: 96gb DDR5

    EA app, not steam.

Done quite a bit of messing with settings, deleting shader caches reinstalling, repairing.

Nothing works to resolve microstuttering. Game is miserable and insufferable right now.

  • Same here, man. It's very frustrating that they're not saying anything about the issue, leaving us in the dark. I've been having stuttering and inconsistent FPS problems for almost a month now, only in this awful game.

The worst part is when I open the game map and it drops to a ridiculous 10 FPS and constant stuttering starts until it regains some stability. Not to mention that the FPS doesn't go above 60 even if I reduce everything to the lowest possible settings in 1080p, which is ridiculous.

I thought the problem might be with my PC since I recently built it, but I've played several other games and haven't had any problems, including recently playing Alan Wake 2 in 4K!!! (with performance upscaling and some settings on medium/high, of course) and impressively, I had NO problems in 25 hours of gameplay.

Apparently it's a game optimization problem with E-Cores, but even disabling them in the BIOS doesn't improve performance, which is... strange.

    My specs:
    i5 14400K
    rtx 5060
    b760m gaming ac 1.x
    32GB DDR4 3200MHz

  • I also have stutters after the hotfix. Similar pc specs, worked fine before winter offensive update.
