Infinite Black screen after finding a match

I didn't have this problem in Campaign mode. I finished the campaign without any problem. 
This problem only happens in multiplayer mode. In conquest or escalation but rarely in other mods, mostly in mods with large map, when the game finds a match and wants to load the map i get black screen and stays like that until i restart the game. The game doesn't crash or anything. I still can hear in game music.  Im launching the game from Steam. 
I tried anything i could, from changing the graphic setting from high to low, change settings in Nvidia app, using DNS ( i thought I'm having internet  connection problems but no i play other online games only happens in BF6 ), closing all background app in windows, all my drivers are update date, i DDU Nvidia driver and installed the latest version again and i uninstalled the game and installed it again, verified the game files multiple times. 
The problem still persists.  
I dont know what to do. The problem happens very randomly sometimes i play for 3-4 matches and no problem and other times i get black screen 3-4 time back to back and i have to close the game and relaunch it multiple times to be able to play one match and in the next match black screen again. 
Also i like to add i have waited in the black screen section for more than 5 minutes to see something might change but no the only fix is to close the game and launch it again.  
Please help out.
My system information : 
Ryzen 9 9950X3d
RTX4090
64GB 6000mhz CL30
the game installed on Samsung 990pro nvme 
1Gb Ethernet internet connection. 

  • Thanks to another community member i think i might have found the solution. It worked for me, give it a try and see if it does fix your problem. 

    I can confirm after uninstalling VPN from my PC the problem is fixed now.
    I had ProtonVPN and Cloudflare Warp on my pc. I use ProtonVPN Split tunneling mainly for Discord. 
    After uninstalling both VPNS, the problem fixed. 
    I played 4 matches back to back without any problem. I have to test more and see if it was just a fluke or a real solution. 

    Update : 

    The problem is Cloudflare Warp app. I dont know why but when i install the Cloudflare Warp app, i get black screen when finding a match. I uninstalled it and the problem went away. I installed and uninstalled Cloudflare Warp app couple of times and i managed to duplicate the problem.  

    I reinstalled ProtonVPN and its running in the background with split tunneling for Discord, i dont have any problem in BF6 regarding the match finding anymore.

    Sorry to hear that. For some people Uninstalling VPN and Wrap fixed their problem. They are also using superonline.

    After today’s 1.0.1.6 update, my issue seems to have completely disappeared. Although I don’t think it’s related to the update itself, I was able to join multiple games in a row without using a VPN and didn’t get stuck on the black screen. I came back here thinking maybe everyone’s problem was solved, but I can see that some of us are still experiencing the issue. Superonline keeps saying, “the situation is not related to us,” and refuses to take responsibility. I even considered changing my ISP. Let’s see if the problem comes back in the following days — I’ll post an update here if it does.

    sorun kesinlikle Superonline de ve bende 1GB paket var, valorant, battlefield 6 ve apex açılırkende aynı sorunlarla karşılaştım, oyun buluyor ama servere bağlanma aşamasında siyah ekranda kalıyor oyunların hepsi

    Same thing, was playing since release and everything was fine till today. Started to get black screen after finding a game.

    Hi folks,

    Thanks for the reports, everyone. They're really helpful.

    The pattern we’re seeing is: Matchmaking → black screen / BATTLEFIELD logo → back to menu. A few of you also mentioned hearing the map load sounds while the UI stays in the lobby.

    Quick sanity checks (please try): 

    • Check EA server status before deep troubleshooting: https://help.ea.com/en/server-status/
    • Power-cycle & update: reboot PC/console and router; install any system/driver/firmware updates.
    • No traffic shapers: To test, temporarily disable VPNs, DNS/traffic intercept tools, or “GoodbyeDPI/zapret”-style utilities and overlays (Discord/GeForce/Afterburner).
    • Wired if possible; if Wi-Fi, try 5 GHz and move closer to the router.
    • Console (PS5/XSX|S): Confirm that the multiplayer/add-on content is installed, restore licenses (PS), and ensure the NAT Type is moderate/open (UPnP on).
    • PC (Steam/EA app/Epic): verify game files; ipconfig /flushdns, then netsh winsock reset (reboot after); try without third-party packet filters.

    What we need from you:

    Please reply with:

    1. Platform Persona Name or EA Account Persona Name / Nucleus ID
    2. Region (country/city)
    3. DNS provider (ISP default, 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, etc.)


    If you do see an on-screen error, please also include the full code exactly as shown (for example: 1:85008S:1786287170:-2146555144Q) along with your Region and DNS provider.

    (Tip: please don’t post your email or any other personal info in public replies.)

    Extra stuff that helps (optional):

    • Whether other Battlefield titles (BF2042/BFV/BF1) can join MP on the same network.
    • Whether it behaves differently if you briefly test via a mobile hotspot (helps isolate ISP vs device).


    Thanks. Collecting the above in one place will help us pinpoint whether this is regional/routing-related or something else.

    Hi, Thank you for your reply. 
    Region:  Turkiye 
    For the DNS i tried 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 but right now is on auto. 
    All the drivers are up to date. I reinstalled windows 11 A month ago. 
    I play the game on Steam. 

    For me personally, i fixed the problem by uninstalling the  Cloudflare Warp. It didn't matter if the Cloudflare Warp was running in the background or not, just having it installed on my system caused the Black screen after finding a match and i could hear the game music. I didn't change any settings in windows, in the game or in my internet modem. After uninstalling Cloudflare Warp the problem was fixed. 

    I didn't have this problem in BF2042, BF1 or BF4 or any other online games i play. 
    I tested with mobile hotspot, still the problem persisted if the Cloudflare Warp was installed on my system but its was more uncommon. With ethernet connected i could only find a match after 5th -6th attempt, sometimes i had to try 10 times to be able to play a match but with hotspot every 3rd-4th attempt i was able to get into a match. 

    I have no idea why having Cloudflare Warp on my system causes this problem. I uninstalled it 11 days ago and since then no problem. 
    Maybe there is a problem with Cloudflare Warp and BF6 Anti cheat. 
    I tried other VPNs like proton VPN and it works fine. 

    I have seen many people from Türkiye report this issue and they all use Superonline ISP which is the most used ISP in turkiye  and from other countries as well. 
    Some people also reported that removing Cloudflare Warp from their system fixed the problem some people said it didnt help.
    This is all the information i have from all the communities i have seen talking about this problem. 
    At this point im not sure if its ISP problem or the game. Uninstalling Cloudflare Warp fixed my problem completely and since then i have played around 50 hours and i don't face that problem anymore. But the servers on European side are not consistent with the ping and the syncing. 
    My ping is around 35-40ms but in some matches even though the game shows my ping is like 38ms i feel like 150ms. in other matches its fine. i don't see any sign of package lost or ping spike while playing. My ping is low and i dont see any warning related to package lost or ping spike but the game feels like 150+ms ping.
