Is EA Terms and Services Team Non-Existent or Appeal Automated and Broken?

I want to start this by stating I am not writing this as an attack on any person or as a rant. While I am frustrated given my experience with EA over the last few months I feel that this needs to be brought up as a legitimate concern.

With my experience over the past few months of being banned and trudging through the appeal system I have noticed 2 things:

1: There are countless comments from different users all saying essentially the same thing. That the Appeal System doesn't do anything and that the T&S Team never actually talked to them.

2: I can't find one post by user or moderator that doesn't lead back to using the same appeal system. That there is no other way to contact the T&S Team, meaning that anyone who needs to appeal a case through them are stuck in a never ending loop of automatically generated denial messages.

Even if you find your way to submitting a Web Form to the EA T&S Team to Appeal it dead ends as soon as you submit, the following screen that gives you options for help does not give you a chat or email option like many of the other web form options do. You are essentially cut off from contacting a live person that can hear your case and potentially help you appeal it. 

This system is completely broken and leaves customers, many of whom may actually be innocent, unable to reverse their ban. An internal investigation really needs to be done to insure the system works properly and there needs to be a way to submit an appeal and talk to a living person. Anything else is unacceptable for a AAA company.

  • I have been through the appeal system for a ban on BF2042.
    There is no genuine appeal system.  It is (bad) Ai providing generic cut and paste answers.
    No proof or even basic information on why I was banned. 
    I never once had anything from a person.  If I did the responses to my questions would have been very different.
    My ban was removed with no explanation.  Maybe as I started messaging employees on LinkedIN.

  • yeah i gave up at some point submitting an appeal leads to an infinite  loop to eaither change appeal topic which is pointless since any topic apart from appealing gets you support that cant help you (only TOS can make those kinda changes) or you get redirected to penalty history where the ban doesnt even exist anymore. even before when you were able to appeal no one from tos support would come to the chat if topic is submit an appeal. so basically at this point it's just a waste of time. 
    bought the game and got banned 3 weeks later , total playtime 2 hours and appealed at least 15 times all returned with useless generated response saying they made the coorect choice by banning me.
    basically they cut us off so we can't appeal anymore on purpose , probably cause they realised the amount of false positives caused by javelin is insane...

    Still unable to reappeal. Still haven't talked to anyone in Terms and Services. I did speak to someone in live chat over account management and while they were nice and seemed to want to help me it was outside of their ability. They informed me only a member of T&S can make those kinds of changes to my account. 

    So this means if you are wrongfully banned due to a false positive from Javelin you are likely out of whatever time and money you've invested into the game.
