Javelin Anticheat Suddenly and Incorrectly Reporting SecureBoot is Not Enabled
Hello,
I had been playing BF6 perfectly fine since the beta. I've made no changes to my system. I had just played BF6 about 6 days ago. I went to hop on today and was receiving the message "SecureBoot is not enabled. Learn how to use SecureBoot at go.ea.com/SecureBoot"
I own the game on Steam.
My system specs:
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel i7 13700k
GPU: GTX 1070
RAM: 32 GB DDR5
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z790-P WIFI
BIOS version: 1836 (4/15/2026)
BIOS Mode: UEFI
Partition Style: GPT
Using msinfo32, my system is reporting "Secure Boot State" as "ON".
tpm.msc is reporting "The TPM is ready for use"
Windows Event Viewer reports Error "ExitType: 111"
Things I've tried:
- Changing SecureBoot to "Custom", clearing the keys, restoring default keys, rebooting, and changing SecureBoot back to "Standard"
- Ensuring CSM is disabled in BIOS
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the game
- Updating BIOS
- Uninstalling and reinstalling EAAntiCheat using EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe
- Deleting EAAntiCheat files and verifying game files on Steam to redownload them
- Clearing the Local Appdata folder for Battlefield 6
I've run out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
