Kicked for inactivity every game

I havent been able to find a resolution but within the past month I cant go a game without getting kicked out. I am using a controller on Pc which i know is sacrilegious but im just trying to play the game. Im using an xbox controller and when i do mouse and keyboard its fine. i had no issues the first couple of months. is there a fix to this???
