Major Issues with Weapon XP Progression and Core gameplay
Dear EA / DICE Support Team,
I am writing as a loyal Battlefield player to express my extreme frustration regarding several critical issues that are severely impacting the game experience, particularly within the Battle Royale (Gauntlet) mode. These issues are making the game unenjoyable and are centered around core technical and design flaws:
Critical Weapon Progression (XP) Issue:
The Weapon XP progression system is unreasonably slow and highly demotivating.
I spent an entire day playing the Gauntlet/Battle Royale mode and completing multiple challenges, yet the weapon level barely reached Level 12.
This extremely slow progression rate kills player enthusiasm and makes me seriously consider uninstalling the game.
Major Audio Bugs (Footsteps):
There is a significant lack of distinction between friendly and enemy footsteps, causing major confusion during combat.
The problem is compounded by the fact that footstep sounds frequently disappear entirely, making accurate enemy localization impossible.
Inconsistent Hit Registration ("Ghost Bullets"):
This is a critical and frequent issue: when firing at a target, a significant portion of the shots do not register as hits (often referred to as 'ghost bullets'). This directly and negatively affects the outcome of engagements.
Visibility and Lighting Problems:
The map suffers from severe lighting inconsistencies; certain areas are extremely dark, making it impossible to spot enemies in these low-light environments.
Enemy player models often do not stand out clearly against the map background, requiring an undue amount of effort to identify them.
Request: I urge your development team to investigate these technical and visibility flaws immediately and to substantially rebalance the weapon XP progression system to be more rewarding and fair.
Sincerely,
•William•
