When on the same internet connection, my wife and I both play pc on steam.
Ports are opened on the router for all normal steam ports.
When inviting her, she shows up in my lobby, shows at the lobby screen standing there, I hit find match, it pops up for her I started match making.
Our characters will stand up like were going in.
Then one of us one connect at all while the other gets in game.

Hi everyone. We’d like to investigate the issues where a party doesn’t fully join the next match (e.g., “waiting for party leader,” one player stuck on the end-of-round screen, or only some members loading in). To help with our review, please include the info below when you reply.
- Platform: (PC-EA app/Steam/ Xbox Series X|S / PS5)
- Gamertag/Username:
- Timestamp with timezone:
- Party size & roles: (# of players, who was party leader)
- Game modes and map :
- What exactly happened: (exact on-screen message: “waiting for party leader”, “joining game…”, etc.)
Thanks for your patience and for helping us investigate!
Same issue here
- Platform:
- Steam
- Gamertag/Username:
- OilCan18 on EA (OilCan18_ on Steam)
- Timestamp with timezone:
- 15OCT2025 1855 GMT +10
- Party size & roles:
- 4 players, players 1 and 2 on separate networks. players 3 and 4 on the same network
- Game modes and map :
- every map and mode - this time it was Breakthrough on Liberation Peak
- What exactly happened:
- Players 1, 2, and 3 loaded into game. Last player, second on same network, stuck in lobby with a "You are in a queue" message at the top
See below screenshots. Note that on the party screen, it shows the other players in the party in the match, with 48/48 players. I am not in the game, as seen on the second screen, and a "you are in a queue" message shows near the top of the screen. The timer will count infinitely, and nothing happens.
