Have been having a problem when trying to party up and join a game with a roommate who is playing in the same house as I am. Every time we get matched into a game together, one of us loads in and the other is booted back to the menu. The player that is sent back to the menu cannot join the round mid-match, as the same thing will happen. On rare occasion, we've been able to play a round together, but usually we get this bug.
We've tested this with another friend who came over for a LAN Party on launch day, and had the exact same problem. However, two of us were able to join matches fairly consistently, while the third was left out. This happens regardless of if there are others in the party who are NOT on the same network.
This seems like some kind of legacy bug because similar problems have occurred in previous titles, though not to the same extreme.

This is happening to me as well, I haven't been able to play the game with anyone in my household since release. We have Uninstalled, cleared caches, etc. I tried to refund the game and cant do that ether. Hopefully the fix it.

Yeah for whatever reason, Battlefield has always had some minor issues with playing on the same network. BFBC2 would kick the other player if they'd been in a match for awhile and the other tried joining, BF3 would do the same, etc. This is the first time I've had problems with being totally unable to play with my friends though...

I am having a similar issue myself but mine most of the time won't even let me get into a game by myself let alone with anyone else about the only way I have found to make it work some of the time but not all of the time is to join a friend's game in progress but does not work most of the time...... I had the same problem in the beta. And was working fine right out the gat then the only thing that I did different was I went into the campaign and it hasn't worked right since
