Me and my fiance have paid £130 for 2 copies of the game, Im PC Steam she is Xbox series X, just for matchmaking to break every other game.
Either it loads just one of us into a game or neither of us and we need to completely restart the game.
Had this exact same issue in battlefield 2042 and the BF6 Beta.
Genuinely thought this would have been fixed by now....
This is game breaking as it destroys any immersion/flow.
Over 100 proven instances of this issue with my friend group! Mixture of Xbox & PC players. Consistently, without fail, we can not get into a game together. Legit stat, out of 10 queues, we get 1 or 2 games that work with all 4 or 3 of us getting pulled in. This has been happening since the beta. The issues have persisted into the finished game. Nothing seems to "make" it work or "make it not work". It is just luck.
In games that do work, when it's re-queuing from a finished game, all of our boxes will show check marks, but it still won't put us in the next game. Everytime, there are empty slots where our squad mate should have been, but it fills with a random a few seconds later.
All games up to date, all on Xbox series X's, or good computers, all fiber internet, we've played together for years in other games without issues. We are always showing in a party inside of BF6. It happens with 2, 3, or 4 people. VERY BROKEN!!!!!
Simple fix: like the 20 years of online games before you that have worked, simply don't allow a game to queue without the full party.
Yep this is happening to me as well it's especially excruciating as there is also a bug that won't let you join a friends custom experience so I have to restart and then we have to all restart and try to find a server
This has already been logged here (under “Party not joining game”) but as a clan leader, this is the biggest and most frustrating issue in the game at the moment. As we play Domination, we have no time to get the “lost” players in so all have to leave and start again.
Yes, I'm also struggling with this, as I'll be with friends, and me and my friend are on PC or laptop then it'll disconnect one of us from the match but no issues with our friend on Xbox. Id like to play together but this makes it close to impossible to do.
This is also happening for me as well. I am still troubleshooting it trying to get the servers to shake up a little. Doing a release/renew and that sort of thing for the network.
I did get things to work once where we loaded a match, my daughter was left out of the match, exited the game, then relaunched into match making and that kept us going for 1-2 matches. It hasn't affected a friend of mine yet who is on PS5, he always gets into the match regardless of the party.

I'm also having this issue, and it seems to happen intermittently both while after finishing a game or in the main menu. It's super frustrating. Details below.
Exactly the same problem here. Happened during the beta, and STILL is happening during full release. Absolutely ridiculous DICE/EA haven't even acknowledged this is an issue for some people.
same issue here through EA app- friends on console are getting into next match and im left behind everytime
Same problem here, my party members are on xbox and pc. I hope this gets fixed soon, becase what good is a team based game when you can't join with your team?
