Multiple critical issues after update — Portal broken, XP disabled, bugs ignored

Hello everyone,

I’m posting this to demand accountability from EA and Battlefield Studios regarding the unacceptable state of Battlefield 6 — especially the Portal mode.

For the past several days, I’ve been unable to host a Portal server due to error “9:147002S”. This blocks me from playing privately with friends, as I used to, in a controlled and immersive setting.

But this is not just about me. Here’s what many of us are facing:

• Portal servers are unstable or inaccessible, even outside peak hours.
• XP progression is disabled in most Portal experiences, even unmodified ones.
• Bots are removed from Verified Experiences, making solo or private play nearly impossible.
• Custom servers are throttled or blocked, with no clear communication.
• Update 1.0.1.0 increased disk usage without improving Portal stability.
• Known bugs persist, including UI glitches, broken party invites, and greyed-out progression badges.
• Rampant cheating in public matches.
• Compensation was distributed unfairly, with some players receiving Battle Passes and XP boosts while others — equally affected — got nothing.

EA must stop punishing legitimate players for the actions of XP exploiters. We paid full price for a game that promised creative freedom and private play. Instead, we’re locked out, ignored, and treated like abusers.
