No error crashing

I’m sure I am not the only person who has been experiencing consistent random crash to desktop with no error reports, or even warnings. I’m sure many of us have all tried the many numerous fixes, and have all gotten nowhere. What I have noticed is the lack of any mention or awareness of the issue from DICE themselves on the issue despite it happening quite a bit in the last few days, and having been reported on numerous times with different posts in different forums. Here alone there are about 12 in the last 8 hours. Steam is full of them as well, and Reddit has a few. Can we actually get some communication from dice in regards to this? It is honestly quite frustrating considering the game was absolutely fine the other day, and every other game works perfectly fine with zero issues.

  • I have been fighting this game since it came out. Multiple errors and crashes with and without error messages. The beta worked perfectly though. And matchmaking issues on a daily basis. Have to have my friend disconnect from his game after we quickly realize we are playing on different maps etc so we can start the matchmaking over. And if you just try to join the friend in game you almost never end up on the same squad. So we both quit and restart the matchmaking over and over again. Then of course you get multiple crashes in between so playing completely sucks. I hope they fix it soon.

I can't even get into the lobby most of the time without it crashing to desktop or doing BSOD. I've tried every workaround and fix I can think of and none of it works.

Exactly! Every time I see a post it’s mostly people trying to “defend” the game by saying “you have a weak rig” like I’m sorry it was a fine rig to get me 61.7 hours in it before this issue started occurring, so no the equipment is fine, it’s the software it’s trying to run that’s the problem.

  • I have this problem since the last big update but had no time to play the game since it. Today I tried it again and nothing has been fixed. So I placed my Crash Dump data here:

Do the same if you can.
DICE is ignoring it because it's a problem of the game and not your PCs mates

I too am really enjoying the game, and it is extremely frustrating because it is genuinely one of the best battlefields in a long time to me. But this zero feedback or acknowledgement on the issue is really annoying. It’s one thing to be unaware of an issue, but it is another thing to completely ignore players when they’re reaching out in unison about it and not release some acknowledging statement on said issue. And yes unfortunately what me and my friend realized is the fixes aren’t going to work entirely because it happens to be something on the dice or ea side of things, and considering that I can play other ea games just fine without crashing, it leads me to believe dice accidentally broke something when they launched red sec the other day, it’s the only difference between now and last week when everything was completely fine.

After the extensive amount of troubleshooting and fixes I attempted last night, and while conversing with a friend who was having some issues like severe lag through out every match, and occasionally crashing to his desktop like I was crashing to mine but not as severe. We’ve realized it is specifically something in the game engine or game server itself that is causing the crashes. Windows reports zero errors, or network or drive issues. And it is literally only battlefield 6 that displays this issue. For me it started as soon as red secs update went live the other day.

  • Hi, I've also been experiencing this issue for the past week or so and I found a workaround, it's not pretty but it'll let you play in the meantime.

I am on AM5 and use a 990pro, I found the 980 pro to be affected as well. What happens, at least in my case, is that the drive that stores the game disappears giving you a stornvme error, so the game crashes or you get a BSOD if the game is on the C: drive.

    Option 1#

If you are on AM5 like me, the only way to get bf6 to be stable is by using a sata ssd for both windows and bf6. Using my 990 pro for OS and sata for bf6 gave me a BSOD.

    Option 2#

If you are on AM4 you should be able to use nvme drives. I verified this with the 980 pro. So your issue is likely faulty hardware (eg. Psu) or Windows.

    Hope this helps

I am having the same exact issue. I have submitted a complaint to them as well, with zero feedback. It's getting to a point where I will probably never play an EA or DICE game ever again. I was really enjoying battlefield but this has ruined my experience completely. I have tried several solutions prompted by other users, but no avail. I am not sure what to do at this point.
